I’m two weeks post pardum and adjusting to being a mom of three. Matt and I are officially outnumbered! Jeremiah William Walsh made his grand entrance on Nov 11th at 3:15am. He weighed in at 8lbs, 2oz. He was 21 1/4inches.
He arrived a few days early after I was induced due to pre-eclampsia. This is my second time ballooning from water weight and having high blood pressure. I was actually giddy and let out a loud “Yes!” when I saw my blood pressure. The nurses looked at me like I was crazy. I was so done with being pregnant. I think every pregnant woman is done when you are that far along.
It has been an adjustment going from 2 to 3 children. It was certainly a learning curve to go from 0 to 2 kids, but there’s something harder or at least different adding an additional kid into the mix when you’ve have a routine for so long. Anyways, it’s been good. I sat around a lot for the first two weeks and had family to help out.
Now, I’m back full throttle multitasking and gearing up to start room re-creations for HGTV’s Fixer Upper. Season 4 kicks off tomorrow. I’m nervous and excited to start the re-creations again. Juggling everything will be a challenge, but I rise to challenges.
I’m also doing a walk through of a potential store front in the next week or so. My shop will still reopen in Farmhouse Design District in Fallston, MD next month, but I’m looking to open a storefront as my main location in downtown Westminster. Can’t wait for it all to come together!
