I came across this Anthropologie living room the other day when I was searching for inspiration and immediately fell in love! It’s whimsical and fun! I posted the picture on my Instagram and people started going nuts. Turns out, I’m not the only one who is crazy about this room. I had to recreate this look! While I love everything Anthropologie sells, I can’t afford to spend my kids’ college funds on decorating. So, I recreated the look on a budget by breaking down this Anthropologie living room and then finding similar furniture and accessories.

Let’s be honest, how many of us have actually entertained the idea of lounging on a pink, bubble gum couch? It’s like the Pink Ladies and the Pink Panther had a baby. Yet, when you build a room around the petal pink couch, it works! It’s whimsical, light, fun, and inviting.
The Hexa Inlay Coffee Table is eye catching. The colors, pattern, texture, and shape make it a statement piece that you can dress up with a floral arrangement or leave just as it is and it’s still stunning.
If only we could all be like Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman (classy of course), and walk into a store and buy anything we wanted. I don’t know about you, but I’m a stay at home mom of twins, designing on a budget, who rocks yoga pants and a tank top a lot of the time. However, working within a budget doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice quality and high end design. These Anthropologie inspired pieces recreate the high end look on a low end budget.

The Holmsund Sofa comes in Ransta Light Pink and is almost a dead ringer for the Anthropologie couch. It’s priced at $699, which is a steal compared to the Linen Edlyn Left Sectional coming in at $3,298.00. You can’t beat the IKEA price and you don’t have to compromise comfort either. Don’t take It just from me. There are several HGTV shows that stage homes with IKEA quite a bit. It’s modern, affordable, and stylish.
I really like the shape of the Chandelle Floor Lamp Ensemble. I set out to find lighting that added to the room, not just stood in the corner. Why settle for a plain base, when you can choose a floor lamp that adds to the conversation and overall look of the room?
While we’re talking about lighting, don’t forget to look up at the unique Anthropologie chandelier. The individual metallic leaves make it come to life. The De Vine Wood Ball Chandelier by Shades of Light is also unique and adds to the whimsy. The natural vine chandelier brings life into the room in an unexpected way. For many, lighting is an after thought, but not when you design a room with this jaw dropping light fixture.
